Has 50 Shades of Grey turned us ladies into a nation of S&M obsessed women searching for our own Christian Grey or is it more a case of we are just caught up in the hype of 50 Shades of Grey?

Recent figures say that worldwide one copy is sold every second, quite amazing really, one theory I do have as to why the fifty shades trilogy is so popular is I honestly believe many of us girls would like our men to be more dominant, when I talk to my girlfriends we are pretty much all in agreement that men in general have lost their way, lost their natural dominance, and instead are one of two things.

  • Self- absorbed and in love with themselves

Or

  • Scared to say what they want or tell their true feelings.

I think most of us have probably dated or have known both types of men in the past and are left frustrated in men not being men!

Of course there are the exceptions but they are in the minority, I would actually go as far to suggest that if you have a partner encourage them to read 50 shades of grey, then you can actually take the time to discuss what you both thought of it after, the brilliant part is you will be able to say how refreshing it was to see Christian Grey taking control, describe what you like about his character why it’s a turn on for women… Let’s face it the majority of men don’t understand us and would be grateful for some subtle advice!

Of course we may not all want what Christian Grey offers in the bedroom some of us don’t want to totally submit to a man but what is nice is a man who knows how to treat us, how to both physically and mentally seduce us, make us feel wanted and special, treat us like a lady and take control, testing us rather than acting all needy and clingy like a mummy’s boy who needs us to take control and make all the decisions, again I know some ladies do like that but for a lot of us we would prefer our Christian Grey type man.

With 50 shades of grey about to be made into a movie I think us girls are going to be wanting to explore our sexuality even more, and find our own Christian Grey in some form, I know I am already searching and finding it great fun!!

Will They Ever Cast Christian Grey!!

Well I’m not sure about all of you but even for a huge fan like me, I’m kind of getting fed up with the whole whom will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the upcoming fifty shades of grey movie.

The latest female being touted for the role of Anastasia Steele seems to be Nina Dobrev… could she play the part convincingly?

I’m sure Nina will be great in the role should she be cast (and let’s be honest, this is a film for us girls and we’re much more interested in who will finally be cast as Christian Grey!!!) but what is more annoying me is the time this is all taking, jeez we want this film already!!!!

I know it’s no good to rush the actual process of making the film but come on guys at least sort casting the leading roles.

Let’s face it there isn’t a shortage of leading males at the moment to choose from, if the directors are that indecisive why do they check out some of the many websites, Facebook pages or online forum’s dedicated to fanatics of “50 shades of grey”.

To the directors, come on check out who the public want to see as Christian Grey, and get the actor on board!!!

Will.i.am is the inspiration (sort of)

Will.i.am is the inspiration behind 50 shades of grey!

Was it Ryan Gosling or maybe it Ian Somerhalder who was the man who inspired E L James to write 50 Shades of Grey?

Err actually no it was Will.i.am, yep the lead singer from the black eyed peas is the man who got the worlds sauciest author all fired up and ready for raunchy writing!

Speaking at a recent launch for the 50 shades of grey album EL revealed that certain music really gets her creative juices flowing and one song in particular, the Black Eyed Peas “sexy” from the album “Elephunk”.

James told the sun newspaper,

“I have songs I write sex to”

Well that’s all well and good but it still doesn’t leave us any wiser as to who she based Christian Grey on, hmm… we will leave that to another day!

Oh where can I find my own real Christian Grey? The 50 shades of grey trilogy have got me seriously wondering where my hero is!

The power of these books have quite amazed me, the way they have virally spread around the world bringing us girls our own version of adult entertainment but in a much more classy way than what is made for the male masses and even without the sex the story line is just so good the 50 shades of grey books are near on impossible to put down!

So who will play Christian Grey in the upcoming movies? Some really lush actors have had their names put forward including Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth and Channing Tatum this list changes daily so could well be out of date by now though!

Whoever does play Christian Grey though will give their career a huge boost and find themselves wanted by millions of women around the world!

So back on track, where can I find my Mr Grey? Now he doesn’t have to be too kinky but just the idea of a man who has a vulnerable side but at the same time has power is a huge turn on for me, confident, well dressed, respectful caring and loving, he is chivalrous, has a taste for fine things, oh and he takes charge he knows exactly what he wants and how to get it… Hmm those guys seem to escape me, back to searching the internet for my very own Mr Grey… maybe I should try this, how about you…Click Here!
